Carriage Rooms at Montalto Estate Wedding

When Angela & Stephen first said they had chose The Carriage Rooms at Montalto Estate for their wedding I couldn’t wait. It’s such a stunning venue and with my last wedding their in the depths of winter I was excited to experience it in the summer – after all it was July!

The morning was pretty relaxed for the most part – well apart from a little moment in the guys house – but that was quickly sorted! Meanwhile over at the girls house I was being well looked after by Sam (Father of the Bride) whilst the girls were with the amazing Harmony Hair and Deborah Harper Beauty & Make-up in Helens Bay.

It was great to have some creative input into displaying the wedding dress, shoes & flowers…most fathers take themselves off to a quiet room with the paper, but not Sam!

On arrival at The Carriage Rooms, we were greeted with rain…persistent rain that stayed until the evening but that wasn’t going to dampen Angela & Stephen’s spirits. Such a happy couple – they took it all in their stride. And all we needed to venture outside was an umbrella, a lakeside gazebo, and a stunning greenhouse! The Carriage Rooms took care of that.

The reception room is such a beautiful setting for speeches – the natural light through the large windows made for some stunning photographs of Angela, Stephen & their guests. The wedding cake (made by Berina) stood out beautifully too!

Many thanks to Catherine Falls for being the 2nd photographer – it’s always great having a second set of eyes…a very creative set too!

And a special mention to: Naomi’s (Wedding Dress) / Red Groomswear / Emma at Flora & Wood / Kaizan Print (Stationary) at of course the team at The Carriage Rooms, Montalto Estate
