Clandeboye Lodge Hotel Wedding: Jenni & Brett

I haven’t smiled and laughed so much at a wedding since my own. In fact my cheeks actually hurt after the photographs down at Kingsland! A lot had to do with the bridesmaid and bestman…and one very happy couple! Jenni & Brent were having the best day of their lives and I was glad to be in the middle of it!

So much fun, laughter and the odd surprise made Jenni & Brents wedding day at the Clandeboye Lodge one to remember!

The morning was typically relaxed yet there was a nice anticipation to it! The guys had their ceremony and reception at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel, Bangor. The Blackwood Suite, with its arched timber beams and gothic windows is the perfect venue for an intimate service. And the grounds of the lodge gave us some great photos with Jenni & Brent’s family and friends, before we headed towards to coast for photographs. Jenni, an avid sailor was keen to be as close to the water as possible for the photographs so we headed for Kingsland & Ballyholme in Bangor.

Awaiting the couple was their little furry friend who made a cameo appearance. With wellies ready we headed to the top of Kingsland for a panoramic view of Ballyholme Bay and the Yacht club before sneaking a quick swing on the esplanade.

Meanwhile back at the Clandeboye Lodge the guests were being entertained with live music and some interesting caricature portraits. These lovely touches and surprises throughout their day, including a singing chef (courtesy of Cameoflage) and an amazing magician/illusionist kept the party before hitting the dance floor for a celei.

What a wonderful day for Jenni & Brent – it was a pleasure being part of it and getting to work alongside the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel.

And a special mention to The Wedding Box, N’ards / Furmans in Bangor (Grooms shoes) / Little Beauty Box / Julie McKinstry Hair
