Destination Wedding Sorrento Italy: Monique & Andy

9 Nov, 2015 | Wedding Blog

I love photographing weddings and love travelling so when Monique & Andy met me over a coffee last year to share their wedding plans I couldn’t hide the excitement!!!  My head was filling up with ideas even before we finished our lattes…the cobbled streets, old buildings, stunning cliffs, the food, not to mention the weather!

And it didn’t disappoint….Monique & Andy along with their closest friends and family made it a wedding to remember!  From arriving in Sorrento to leaving 3 days later Monique & Andy were so relaxed, very inclusive and most of all great fun!!!  Their wedding ceremony took place in the stunning ‘Cloisters de San Francesco’ before spending the afternoon in typical Italian style out of the sun over an amazing meal at L’Antica Trattoria’.

Full of energy the party move on to the rooftop bar at the Hotel Plaza to celebrate and enjoy the amazing views of Sorrento and the Amalfi coast – a fitting backdrop to end their amazing day!

It was a pleasure to capture their day and I’m very excited to be able to share their ‘Sorrento adventure’ with you:

And all this wouldn’t be possible without the services of these amazing wedding vendors:

Monique & Andy English:Of all the parts of our wedding, Ricky and his work are two of the most frequently mentioned by our guests as being stand out high points. His unobtrusive, happy-go-lucky nature meant he slotted right in with our small party (30 people) and the result was some truly beautiful photographs that captured the essence of both our day, the location and our closest family and friends. We would, without the slightest hesitation recommend Ricky as a photographer to anyone considering him for their wedding, or any of the other photo shoots he offers.”
