Merchant Hotel & Cathedral Quarter Wedding: Sinead & Colin

23 Jan, 2018 | Wedding Blog

The Merchant Hotel in Belfast is a stunning venue – the grandeur of the building, the 5 star service, the rooftop bar and the close proximity to the Cathedral Quarter allowed for a very fun, yet relaxing afternoon for Sinead & Colin.  They had travelled back from Edinburgh to their hometown of Holywood, Co Down to marry at St Colmcille’s Church.

The boys spent the morning relaxing in the lovely surroundings of The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn before heading up to the church whilst the girls got ready in Sinead’s parents home, less than a mile from the church.  It to was a very relaxing morning, perhaps too relaxing…the idea of only being 2 minutes from the church maybe removed the need of urgency of arriving on time, or slightly late.

But it was worth the wait to see Colin’s reaction when Sinead walked up the aisle – she looked stunning!

A beautiful service followed, with many a laugh and joke (courtesy of the priest!) before heading into town.  It was a sunny spring afternoon – perfect for the guests to dig out their sunglasses & head to the Rooftop Bar of The Merchant Hotel to enjoy a drink whilst Sinead, Colin & the bridal party explored the cobbled lanes of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.

It was a pleasure working alongside Sasha (Caireen Langsford Hair) | Louise Red Carpet Angels) | Norah Mitchell Flowers | The Merchant Hotel.

And a special mention to: Essence of Australia (Wedding Dress) & Red (Groomswear)
