Riverdale Barn Wedding: Charlotte & David
Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year for weddings. The colours outside are stunning, the light can be awesome and when you have amazing venues like The Riverdale Barn in Northern Ireland hosting the wedding you know you will have a beautiful day.
Charlotte & David teamed up with Petals & Pots in Downpatrick to dress the Riverdale Barn and I couldn’t get over how beautiful it looked…I loved the rustic feel.
Having started the day in Killyleagh with the boys, they headed up the road to Saintfield Presbyterian Church in style. David’s father was more than happy to take them for a spin in his Truimph Stag.
Logybears took care of the girls transport to the service.
After the service we managed to dodge the rain shower whilst travelling to The Riverdale Barn, close to the shores of Lough Neagh. On arrival the rain magically stopped giving us plenty of time to enjoy photographs around grounds – the waterfall, the trails, the stone brick walls, the red barn doors – so much to choose from!
I loved Charlotte & Davids spirit – after the spit roast, they were up for venturing outside for some night shots…just as a storm was approaching. We quickly got them back inside for their 1st dance, before the electricity went out. Amazingly Platinum Band continued to entertain until the generator got the party back up and running.
This was a beautiful day, set in a stunning location with such a lovely couple…it was a pleasure working with Riverdale Barn / Set n Style, Kilmore / Lauren Montgomery Make-up / Platinum Band & Logybears. And a special mention to The Wedding Box, N’ards & Bogarts Belfast.
